I would be delighted if this little frog could be displayed in a place where the people of your home come and go each day, such as near the entrance. In Japan, frogs have long been cherished as symbols of good fortune. Their name, kaeru, sounds the same as the Japanese word meaning “to return,” making them a traditional symbol of safe journeys, happy homecomings, and even turning misfortune into good fortune. For generations, they have also been treasured as protective charms. Like every creature from Kamon Seibutsu Sha, this little frog is carefully handcrafted through each step of the process and is truly one of a kind. No other frog with exactly the same expression or floral pattern will ever be created. I hope you will give this little guardian the special role of quietly wishing for your safe journeys each time you leave home. It looks like the perfect place to make a cozy little bed and a secret hideaway. From the top of this tall, straight-stemmed flower, the little gecko will be able to look out over a wide and beautiful view. The climb to the very top is still a work in progress, but it seems this little spot has already been chosen as its secret hideaway. And there is something a little special about this gecko’s eyes. With its curious and inquisitive gaze, this little creature may find itself quietly watching you. If you look back, your eyes might just happen to meet. Which angle you choose to talk to your little companion from is entirely up to you. Carefully handcrafted, one step at a time, this is a truly one-of-a-kind piece. No other gecko with exactly the same expression or pattern will ever be born again. Place this little creature in a quiet corner of your room or on a shelf, and a small story will quietly begin. A small item for displaying this piece will be included as a gift. I created three little Hanagara Geckos who found their own secret hideaways among the Gerbera-like flowers. Two have already found their forever homes at 2026 my solo exhibition. This is the last one waiting for its special home. Perhaps this little one’s new story quietly begins the day it finds its forever home. Creation Notes When creating the Hanagara Gecko, I paid close attention to its gaze, body structure, and especially the range of movement in its joints. I carefully considered the natural positions of its tiny toes as they climb the slender stem, the placement of its tail, and the angle of its neck. I also carefully positioned and angled the millefiori used for its eyes so that, from different viewpoints, its gaze may occasionally meet yours. I believe I have created a little creature that can truly live up to its Japanese name, Yamori — a “guardian of the home” who quietly watches over the people who live there. “Good morning.” “How are you?” I think this little gecko would be very happy if you spoke a few simple words to it, whether every day or just from time to time. I wanted the flower to resemble a real gerbera as closely as possible, so the petals are also made from millefiori. The fine, straight lines running through the centers of the petals are not particularly bold in color, but I believe these subtle lines are what allow me to express the natural curves and gentle bending of the petals. When creating the Hanagara Tree Frog, I paid particular attention to the placement and angles of its joints, the length of its fingers, and the distinctive positions of a frog’s toes as they stretch out or gently curl around something. 花紋生物舎 No.004 雨フル季節はハナガラでんでんの季節 ※ご紹介 日々のくらしの中にまだまだ土の香り、雨の香りが身近にあった頃。 雨が降り続く季節。 濡れた紫陽花の葉っぱの上や、今ではあまり見なくなったブロック塀の影には小さなお家（貝殻）を背負ったカタツムリ達が集まっていたものです。 今ではその姿をみることはなかなかなくなったように感じます。 でも、そんな彼らの姿を雨が降ると思い出します。 猫の目工房の手から生まれてくる小さな生き物たちは、幼い頃の思い出の中にもはっきり息づいていて、とある森のさらに奥深くハナガラノモリに生息しているのです。 忘れさられたくないコたちを思い出すとノスタルジックなひとときを楽しめるかもしれません。 ※制作ノート でーんでんむーしむしかーたつむりー なんて、歌いながらつの？をツンツンしていました。 制作するにあたり、歌の中の「つの」だの「やり」だの幼い頃は気にしなかったカラダの特徴や、そのカラダのどの部分に貝殻がしっくりハマっているのか？など今まで考えなかったところを調べまくりました。 カラダの質感を表現できる模様のミルフィオリを考えたり、貝殻の巻き具合とそれに合わせられるようグラデーションのミルフィオリを作ったので貝殻の表から裏側への色の変化もお楽しみいただけるかと思います。這って移動するハナガラでんでん、地べたからカラダへツルがのび、花を纏っています。 ※標本データ * 種類：オブジェ * 素材：オーブンクレイ・レジン * 身長：約3.6cm * 一点もの :-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-: The Rainy Season is the Season of Hanagara Denden -004 About this piece There was once a time when the scent of soil and the fragrance of rain were still close companions in our daily lives. During the long rainy season, tiny snails carrying their little homes (shells) on their backs could often be found gathering on the leaves of rain-soaked hydrangeas or hiding in the shadows of old concrete block walls — places that have become less familiar in our modern lives. Nowadays, it feels increasingly rare to encounter these little creatures. Yet whenever the rain begins to fall, I find myself remembering their gentle presence. The small creatures born from the hands of Nekonome Koubou continue to live vividly within my childhood memories. They now inhabit Hanagara no Mori, a magical forest hidden deep beyond the woods. By remembering these little beings who should never be forgotten, perhaps you too can enjoy a nostalgic moment filled with the quiet memories of days gone by. Creation Notes “Snail, snail, little snail…” As a child, I would sing this song while gently touching the little snail’s feelers. While creating this piece, I began researching the details I had never really noticed as a child — the body features described in the song, such as the “feelers” and “horns,” and how exactly the shell naturally rests upon the snail’s body. I designed millefiori patterns to express the texture of the snail’s body, and created a special gradient millefiori pattern to match the spiral shape of the shell. This allows you to enjoy the subtle changes in color from the front of the shell to the back. The Hanagara Denden slowly crawls along the ground, while tiny vines grow from its body and bloom into flowers it carries with it. 花紋生物舎 No.012 世間ではマイナスイメージかもしれませんが渋くてお洒落なフクラスズメ-012 ※ご紹介※ 世間様からはもしかしたらあまり好かれていないフクラスズメさん。 上羽の同系色地模様は大変渋くて素敵な模様で、下羽には実は発色の美しいアオムラサキ色が隠されているのです。 休日のシックな装いにぴったりなブローチに仕上がりました。 あなたの暮らしにも、とある小さな森の風景を届けられたら嬉しいです。 ※制作ノート※ わたしの使っているポリマークレイの色種にはない色ばかりの羽模様でした。 1色を作り出すために何色もの色を配合し、わずかに違う色をいくつも作り出し、グラデーションを表現したり、色と色が隣り合った際の違和感を無くす中間色を作ったりと羽の形のミルフィオリがカタチになるまでなかなか大変でした。 渋くてカッコいい上羽に隠れた下羽。見えない場所に美しい色を隠し持っているのがフクラスズメさんということも知ることができて、大変だったけれど大満足で勉強にもなった制作時間でした。 ブローチは性別関係なくお楽しみいただけるようデザイン制作しております。 手のひらにのる小さな作品ですが、 眺めるたびにとある森の空気を感じてもらえたら嬉しいです ※標本データ※ * 種類：ブローチ * 素材：オーブンクレイ（ポリマークレイ）・レジン・ブローチ金具 * サイズ：約6.0cm×4.0cm * 一点もの

With its body stretched up tall, it gazes up at you with longing eyes. As if it were waiting for the gaze and words of the person it loves most. At first glance, its fur appears simply black, but if you look closely, you will find delicate blue flowers and subtle green vines quietly blooming across its coat. Perhaps it is eagerly waiting to hear the voice of the person it loves, or maybe it is nervously trying to find just the right moment to say, “Hey, you know…” I created this piece while imagining a little scene from such a story. I would be happy if this little cat could become a presence in your everyday life, bringing about tiny conversations whenever your eyes happen to meet. ※ Creation Note ※ A black cat’s expression can change dramatically depending on how the light falls and the angle of its gaze. This little one’s favorite place is resting on the leaves of a scented geranium. Today, too, it is taking a leisurely little break. Blue and yellow flowers bloom across its back, and with its round, gentle eyes, it quietly gazes at you. Peeking out from beneath the leaves, it is feeling a little restless, eager to softly whisper something to you. ※タイトル フカフカ気持ち良い落ち葉のベッドから見つめるハナガラヤモリ-006 ※ご紹介 花模様を纏った小さなヤモリが、ふかふかで気持ちいい落ち葉のベッドからそっとこちらを見つめています。 見つめ返すと目がばっちり合うかもしれません。 どんか角度から話しかけるかはあなた次第です。 こちらをそっと見つめながら、 好奇心にみちた視線は何かを話しかけたいのかもしれません ひとつひとつの工程を丁寧に手作業して生まれてきた一点もの。 同じ表情や模様の子は二度と生まれません。 お部屋の片隅や本棚の上に飾れば、小さな物語が静かに始まります。 ※制作ノート ハナガラヤモリは視線やカラダの骨格、特に関節の可動域に注意しながら制作しました。落ち葉をふみしめてこちらを見上げるときの自然な足や尻尾の位置、首の角度、また色々な角度からでも視線がちらりと合うような目用に制作したミルフィオリの位置や角度など。 ちゃんと家守（ヤモリ）として家族を見守ることができるコが生まれたと思います。 「おはよう」 「元気？」 そんな一言を時々でも毎日でもかけてもらえたら、この子はとても幸せだと思います。 ※標本データ * 種類：オブジェ * 素材：オーブンクレイ・レジン * サイズ：約10.5cm×8.5cm * 一点もの
