カエルといえば日本では「無事帰る」など誰かの安全や無事を祈る御守りとしても親しまれている存在です。
ハナガラアマガエルは特に関節の位置や角度、指の長さや広げたり握ったりする時のカエル独特の角度に注意しながら生み出しました。
林檎の茎を握って落ちないようにしっかりカラダを固定してあなたを優しい視線で見守るコとして生まれました。

Creation Notes
In Japan, frogs are often cherished as symbols of protection and safe journeys. The Japanese word for “frog,” kaeru, sounds like the word meaning “to return home,” so frogs have long been treasured as little good-luck charms wishing for someone to return safely.
When creating the Hanagara Tree Frog, I paid particular attention to the placement and angles of its joints, the length of its fingers, and the distinctive positions of a frog’s toes as they stretch out or gently curl around something.
This little frog was created to hold tightly onto the stem of its apple, keeping its body securely in place so it will not fall, while gently watching over you with its kind and tender gaze.
